🚨 BREAKING 🚨 4-star WR Shamarius Peterkin has just announced his commitment to the #Hokies!! VT landed his commitment over long-term leader NC State.

Virginia Tech adds to its 2025 class with 4⭐ wide receiver Matthew Outten from I.C. Norcom High School in Portsmouth, Va. A top-10 player in the Commonwealth, @Matthewoutten6 (6-0, 210) chose the #Hokies over Penn State, Syracuse, Maryland and others.

Brent Pry signed the best recruiting class EVER in Virginia Tech History by AVG Recruit Ranking in 2024. That's pretty incredible especially recalling some of the classes that Beamer had. The 88.14 AVG is 1.7 points higher than the 2023 class and 3.16 points higher than the 2020 class. Pry led the Hokies to a 7-6 record last season including a blowout win vs rival UVA and a bowl win vs Tulane to end the season. Recruits are starting to take notice and VA Recruits are giving the Hokies a good look. Pry was able to keep big time 4⭐ Wide Receivers Keylan Adams and Chanz Wiggins home and 4⭐ EDGE Gerard Johnson also stayed in state to play at VT. Don't sleep on the Hokies in 2024!!!!!
