We thank President @GitanasNauseda for responding to our previous appeal regarding questions surrounding the use of funds by @DZalimas40196 allocated for Belarusian democratic movement. Today, we publish our second appeal, calling for full transparency, independent international oversight, and public accountability regarding the distribution of Belarus-related funding in Lithuania. Belarusians who sacrificed their freedom and future deserve openness. Appeal is here - belarusforum.org/en/documents/o… @EU_Commission @Europarl_EN @EP_Petitions @OCCRP @anticorruption @GLandsbergis @LRTenglish #Belarus #Lithuania #Transparency #Accountability #EU

New analysis: Political prisoner releases in Belarus (2024–2026) Role of 🇵🇱 Poland and 🇺🇸 United States belaruswomen.org/en/projects/ur… Releases occur where there is political will to apply external pressure. The decisive factor is not only resources, but the willingness to use them.

Call to Sanction @RaiffeisenBank for Complicity in War and Repression A formal appeal has been sent to @EU_Commission President @vonderleyen urging sanctions against RBI for financing Russia’s war on Ukraine and supporting political repression in Belarus. The letter exposes Raiffeisen's illegal transfer of real estate property belonging to the family of Belarusian opposition leaders @Valery and Veronica @VTsepkalo to the Lukashenko regime, and the sale of its Belarus subsidiary to an offshore entity linked to the #Lukashenko family. Despite earning up to 75% of its profits in Russia, RBI remains untouched by sanctions — unlike all other banks. The letter condemns the EU’s selective enforcement. While Eastern European and Israeli businessmen face sanctions, Austrian RBI executives operate freely, undermining EU credibility and justice - Full text - shorturl.at/3Bq5J #SanctionRBI #Raiffeisen #Ukraine #Belarus #EU #StopFundingWar #Lukashenko #HumanRights #SelectiveSanctions #vonderLeyen @Reuters @AP @BBCWorld @CNN @nytimes @washingtonpost @guardian @FinancialTimes @business @LeMonde @derspiegel @POLITICOEurope @SkyNews @Forbes @TIME @AJEnglish @euobs @euronews @FTBrussels #HumanRights #EUPolitics #GlobalJustice #FinancialAccountability #WarCrimes #CorporateComplicity #UkraineWar #BelarusOpposition #SanctionsNow

Today, I sent an official letter to the #Prosecutor's Office of #Belarus regarding the violation of constitutional rights and legal interests of minor children, illegal seizure of housing, and persecution for political reasons. My family house was sold at auction due to my husband's @ValeryTsepkalo political stance. Our family faced massive repressions by the state bodies, violating multiple articles of the Constitution and international laws. I request a prosecutorial review and measures against those responsible. Attachments included.

I was pleased to be a keynote speaker at NexGen Voices for Europe’s event, “An Intergenerational Dialogue on the Future” held in #Albania. In the panel discussion it was a privilege to listen to and engage with H.E. Mr. Edi Rama, Prime Minister of #Albania, Mr. Martin Schulz, Former President of the #European Parliament, and Dr. Jurgen Linden from the Charlemagne Prize Society. We delved into pressing challenges facing #Europe, explored how the next generation can contribute to a peaceful future, discussed the current state of human rights in #Belarus. I also appeared on @CNN to address topics such as human rights and women’s rights in #Belarus. #Belarus @belarus_women #WomenEmpowerment #Karlspreis #EuropeFuture

🚨 I’ve filed a lawsuit against Raiffeisen in the Civil Court of Vienna, presenting evidence of their role in aiding oppressive regimes to confiscate assets and seize valuables from safety deposit boxes. I am eager to see Strobl (CEO) and Hameseder (Chairman) in court, expose them as examples of how some individuals prosper on the blood and suffering of others, and welcome the media to witness this fight for justice. 🌍 Meeting new people always excites me, but meeting in person those I work with and collaborate with daily is even more thrilling: #Microsoft teammates, peers, colleagues, and most importantly, #BusinessApplications Partners. #Directions for Partners is not just a meeting place; it's also a learning hub for #BusinessCentral's new product features and capabilities, #AI and technology trends, and much more. This year set a record for participation, with over 3,000 Microsoft employees and partners coming together to learn, network, connect, and share their knowledge. 🎤 I had the privilege of delivering a presentation for the EMEA Microsoft Indirect Providers #SureStep Community, where we discussed available programmes and tools to grow the #BusinessCentral business. 🎤I also hosted a #SureStep Ambassadors session, addressing questions on how to build a successful P2P business, develop SMB offerings, and work in a highly competitive environment. 🎤 Additionally, I was a speaker at the UK and Ireland session, where we shared SMB business and market growth aspirations in the UK and Ireland, available incentives, programmes, offers, and many other topics. What a great week it was at Directions in Vienna 🇦🇹 See you at Directions next year in Poland 🇵🇱 #Directions4Partners #DirectionsEMEA2024 #BusinessCentral #Dynamics365 #PowerPlatform #PartnersMakeMorePossible #MSPartners #MicrosoftPartners #BizApps #SMB #Copilot #GenerativeAI #EMEA2024

Dear friends, Starting tomorrow, we’ll be together again! Stay updated on Twitter and LinkedIn. I’ll be sharing news about our new projects, and I promise there will be plenty of surprises and exciting developments. Over the past hundred years, #Belarus land has faced immense challenges: two world wars that claimed the lives of nearly a third of our people, the Chernobyl disaster, and over 30 years of a personal regime marked by political murders, torture, prisons, and exile for those striving for freedom and prosperity in our country. When soldiers stand armed to protect their homeland from an external enemy, it is an honor. When internal forces and the police protect the defenseless and vulnerable from criminals, that too is an honor. But when these “defenders” turn their weapons on peaceful citizens — their own fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters — it is more than shameful. There is no act lower than, armed, to assault an unarmed elderly person or young woman who simply wants to “live by truth,” following the laws of morality and justice. According to the Bible, Cain once killed his brother Abel out of jealousy for his hard work and talent. And God punished Cain with three curses. “The land, drenched in innocent brotherly blood, will no longer yield to you.” Belarus, which has some of Europe’s richest soils, now has some of the world’s most neglected agricultural towns and dying villages, despite billions of dollars invested. Cows drown in filth; pigs starve. “You will be a wanderer on Earth.” Belarusians abroad face closed accounts, confiscated cars, and blocked goods on global markets. Many Belarusians hide their nationality to avoid being associated with a country that hijacks civilian aircraft, creates tension at borders with migrants, and lends its territory and arms against people who once considered Belarusians their closest friends. “You will be exiled to the East, and there, in the land of Nod, you will lead a miserable existence.” And so they live, suffering degrading treatment, subject to arbitrary imprisonment, torture, and even death — over a comment, the color of clothing, or nothing at all, with no accountability for their persecutors. Belarusians are trapped in a “land of Nod,” cut off from the world. Those who want to see the developing world endure humiliating visa queues, anxious waiting for an entry verdict, and hours at borders. All this to glimpse a world that long ago left behind the concept of visas and queues. For a long time, we misunderstood the meaning of the 2020 revolution, seeing it as just an event. We were wrong. It was the start of a new era. Unlike past revolutions, it wasn’t directed at the masses or classes but at each individual. That’s why it didn’t prevail by force. Yes, we see a regression, a slide back into the past. Medieval attitudes of arrogance and rudeness toward the “serfs” have returned to public life. But this is temporary. Time moves forward inexorably. We are going through our own purgatory, and we need just a bit more time to cleanse ourselves of the darkness and filth they are trying to impose again. The future is inevitable. Development and progress are unstoppable. But this path is no high-speed highway. It’s more like a winding country road, sometimes veering off course or even leading backward. To keep the future from being overtaken by demagogues and opportunists, and to prevent a return to the past, we must take the time to understand our world, our era, and ourselves. For this, it’s worth “taking up the pen” and “telling the story of the time and of oneself.” Let’s do this together!
