@bestofstarwar For many people it resembled Muppets in space. All looked very CGI as did all of the prequels, especially the second movie. Anakin's development was a joke, audience literally laughed at the spinning lightsabers scene. Could write a book on what was wrong with these films.

I genuinely can't understand how the previous generation saw this in 2005 and said, "This sucks."

@bestofstarwar Lots of reasons, some terrible decisions, poor film all round. Great fight scene though. Shame how it ended, I guess the 'high ground' only works when you've got plot armour.

It's both, sport and a business. 'The show' is often referenced. As for the Hill/ Ralf issue, likely both cars would have been out had they raced and the sport/business is far bigger than just the drivers. Those team points are critical to the thousands that give everything behind the scenes.

@castellodesigns @RaceDayReplay @HillF1 Not really, Hill was ahead of Ralf all the way. Despite a slow puncture (following minor contact with Nakano) he would have defended to the limit, so they could lose both cars. Just to hold station for the last couple of laps seemed sensible given the drama of the day.
