This is a good move—it buys us time. It’s essential that we use it wisely. Acknowledge that under current conditions, there are no military solutions and a true settlement is unlikely. Follow the Reagan-in-’84 model: pull our forces out of the region, let our Gulf allies negotiate to reopen the SOH, and refocus on the issues at home and winning the next election, like Reagan did. This is the opposite of what Israel wants us to do. To prevent Israel from pulling us deeper into this war, we must impose real restraint by limiting military aid to Israel. The escalation game is a losing hand. Dump it and walk away.

🚨 Is Virginia about to become the MOST rigged state in the country? $80M spent on a so-called “fairness” campaign while voters are told half-truths on repeat. Get informed. Get out. VOTE NO. Tune in @ 6pm ET @seanspicershow

Men are extremely vulnerable to suicide between the ages of 45-54. A deep hopelessness sets in when they realize that they checked all of the so-called fulfillment boxes and life still feels empty. Why is that? Why are married men in their 40s so hopeless, depressed, and lonely?

Breaking news: The military will no longer require U.S. troops to receive the annual flu vaccine, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said, rolling back what he described as “overreaching mandates that only weaken our war-fighting capabilities.” wapo.st/4dZY8UL

x.com/fairfaxvotes/s… This brings Fairfax to 47.9% of 2025 vote total. That's definitely running behind.

🚨 GOP ESTABLISHMENT TRYING TO SILENCE SEN. MIKE LEE OVER SAVE AMERICA ACT PunchBowl News is reporting that Sen. Mike Lee’s own Republican colleagues are pressuring him to stop talking about the SAVE America Act on social media. Let that sink in.

JUST IN: Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy doesn't say he has any regrets after furious backlash to his X post calling reports of Iranian ships slipping past the U.S. naval blockade "awesome." "I guess I just have to be more careful about sarcasm on Twitter," Murphy exclusively told FOX News.

Virginia, it’s Election Day, and here’s your voting checklist. IWillVote.com/VA

🇺🇸🇮🇷 The U.S. Navy just boarded a crude oil tanker in the Indian Ocean. The tanker was carrying 2 million barrels of crude oil loaded at Iran's Kharg Island earlier in the month. This is the second ship the U.S. has seized today, just a day before the second round of negotiations is set to start between American and Iranian delegates in Islamabad. Source: @MarineTraffic

Reagan famously said he didn’t leave the Democratic Party, they left him. I feel much the same way about the Trump-era GOP. As a libertarian, I was never a down-the-line Republican (they were too socially conservative and overly tolerant of high govt spending). But I did vote for them as the lesser evil in most pre-2016 elections. Over the last decade, that’s no longer true.

🇮🇷 50 days of war, $50 billion in oil lost, 500 million barrels that never made it to market. That's enough to fuel the entire world's shipping industry for 4 months, or cover nearly a month of U.S. oil demand. Gas is sitting at $4.04 a gallon on average in the U.S. right now, up 37% since the war began. Energy experts say even a ceasefire won't bring prices back for months. The IEA is calling this "the largest energy crisis we have ever faced." Source: AP News

🇮🇱🇵🇸 West Bank settlers set up razor wire to stop Palestinian kids from going to school. When they tried to climb over it, the Israeli army tear-gassed them. Remind me again how Israel is justified in persecuting children... kids FFS!!

🇸🇾🇮🇱 Israel may be quietly midwifing a new state in southern Syria. The Druze, backed by Israel, now fully control Sweida, a region of nearly half a million people, over 85% Druze and close to 10% Christian. If this holds, Sweida could become the first overwhelmingly non-Muslim state in the Middle East since Israel. Syria's civil war didn't just topple Assad. It cracked the country open, and the pieces are being picked up by whoever has the backing and the boots on the ground. Israel has been quietly filling that role in the south. Source: AP

During talks between U.S. and Iranian delegations in Pakistan, the topic of Ukraine unexpectedly came up. While discussing U.S. guarantees in the event that Iran halts uranium enrichment and abandons the development of nuclear weapons, the Iranian side asked how the United States is fulfilling the 1994 Budapest Memorandum, in which it pledged to respect and protect Ukraine’s sovereignty. The U.S. delegation left the question unanswered.

🇮🇷 Scammers are impersonating Iranian authorities and demanding crypto payments from shipping companies in exchange for safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz. At least one ship that reportedly paid up was hit by gunfire anyway. Maritime risk firm MARISKS confirmed the messages are a scam, not from Tehran. Meanwhile, hundreds of ships and 20,000 seafarers remain stranded in the Gulf with nowhere to go. Another layer of trouble just piled up on them. Source: Al Jazeera
