It’s really not fair that Sony’s recent stupid attitude has made some indie devs have to make statements like this. Not all of them can afford physical releases right now. That’s just how it is. Cut them some slack over this situation.

You're going off on tangents that have nothing to do with anything. Whose talking about indie devs wages? The vast majority of indie titles are digital only and have been for well over a decade. You're targeting the wrong crowd. Go after @insomniacgames , @Naughty_Dog , @RockstarGames , @SuckerPunchProd , and @PlayStation they are the ones killing physical games not indie devs.

Folks, we don't heckle indie devs over issues with Sony canceling physical games. What are we doing here? Indies don't have as many options for distribution as triple AAA studios. Take this energy to Insomniac, Sucker Punch, Naughty Dog, and Sony. This is not the way.

@Lance54890686 It is normal to not have physical copies PC is virtually 100% digital. We want options which is why many of us use consoles still, not forced compliance. Your attitude will ultimately be a detriment to physical preservation by hassling innocent indie devs.

There's thousands of indie games released digitally only. Some of them operate on razor thin margins. Physical isn't an option for many of them even on consoles. The target of your ire should be sony, nintendo, microsoft, and their massive studios making billions of dollars. Not indie devs.

I kind of want to play it to see what the deal is about it. I was born in '83 so the presumed time period this takes place I would have been the age of the characters I'm guessing and I looked at the soundtrack once and nothing on it other than Silver Chair, Smashing Pumpkins, and Portishead made me think of the 90's for more a millisecond. It's like all gothy indie rock from the 80's or classic rock and pop from the 70's. Not that my friends and I didn't listen to music of several eras, but even the Smashing Pumpkins song was an odd pick. Maybe it fits the context of the scene, but other than Tonight, Tonight, Zero, Bullet With Butterfly Wings, and 1979 I don't recall Love being a major single off of Mellon Collie. Who knows I grew up in the college town in the South and we were all listening to grunge, nu-metal, hardcore, thrash, and punk since I hung with all the nerds, skaters, and metal heads. So maybe my expectations for a 90's soundtrack are a bit different.

I finished Mixtape. I try to avoid being too extreme with my takes but in this case? It’s awful. Pretentious lead, unintentionally funny, tries too hard to be “cool”, doesn’t feel 90s for an allegedly 90s experience, I could go on. Can’t recommend. Toss the tape out.

Same, I feel Suikoden 3 is so underrated. I've bounced off some of the SMT games a few times. It's kinda like something I want to like, but can't always get into depending on the title. It's the kind of series I just have to be in the mood for. I honestly thought I would not be into Persona at all. It sounded lame being a high school kid stuck on a schedule, but my wife and I played Persona 4 a few years ago and while the schedule can be a little stressful at times we had an absolute blast. We ended up playing it twice back to back and several months later played Golden. Really good character writing and a genuinely interesting plot. It's slow, but it's a damned good game.

@V_BurghRPG Suiko 3 is one of my all time favs! Ill have to truly give persona and SMT shot, I just never vibed with the school / schoolage vibes but I can get over it

Are there any Japanese-developed CRPGs? The only series that I think uses shades of CRPG would be maybe SaGa, which feels much more western/tabletop focused than the standard JRPG.
