I might dislike Fadiel Adams, but the way he was treated by SAPS is totally wrong and raises serious questions about abuse of power. South Africans must remember how Bheki Cele was once praised as a messiah yet today commissions and allegations continue to follow him left, right and centre. Power without scrutiny is dangerous. They produce their country ID documents and immediately that person they check on their records if he doesn’t have a crime. Both DNA , fingerprints etc are registered with intention to control them

The South African government claims this is about compliance, but in reality, it's a system of state sanctioned theft. While other corporations have quietly paid for political patronage to bypass these rules, Musk is calling out the corruption. This 30% norm hasn't empowered the people, it has simply enriched a circle of political elites. Most businesses take the easy way out and pay the bribe, but Musk has the integrity to stand his ground and expose the rot.
