This is what I find so amusing. We are ranking artists based on "man code" or what a person should be rapping about when pushing 40. The entire point is to make good music. And Drake has made consistently good music for almost 15 years, something neither of those other two rappers has done. Kendrick is a gifted rapper, no question. @PaulSkallas This isn’t true. He was a young director coming off of Insomnia and Memento, the latter of which was critically praised. He then goes on to make genre defining films like Dark Knight, Inception, and Interstellar and his reputation rightfully elevates to almost where it is today.

Christopher Nolan is considered a great director today because cinema is terrible now. Back when he first came out 20-25 years ago he was just another ok director. No one thought he was one of the best. He was just decent, among other decent and some much better directors. There are two ways to rise in the world. Do good work. Or wait until things collapse and they will call you great.
