Breaking: In a fiery speech on the House floor, House Appropriations Committee Chair Luke Torian says a budget agreement has not been reached. He says the Senate won't pass a budget without getting rid of the data center sales tax exemption. I'm paraphrasing, but Torian says the House shouldn't agree to that because Virginia shouldn't break its promises and turn it's back on companies that have invested in Virginia.

On Budget Sunday, the House and Senate “money” Committees reported amendments to Governor Youngkin’s introduced budget, which included $112,325,881 for TAG. The House reported increased investments of $9.6M. The Senate recommended $17.3 M increase over the biennium.
