AbbyPD Notifies BC’s Independent Investigation Office of Fatal Collision Abbotsford, BC – March 17th, 2026 – On March 16th, 2026, at approximately 11:37 p.m., an Abbotsford Police officer attempted to stop a speeding vehicle traveling eastbound on Maclure Road near Townline Road. The driver of the vehicle, a Dodge Ram, failed to stop and fled from the attempted traffic stop. Moments later, the vehicle lost control and collided with a tree near the intersection of Maclure Road and Old Yale Road. The driver of the vehicle was located deceased at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the collision. The Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) has been called in to assist with the investigation. The Abbotsford Police Department has also notified BC’s Independent Investigations Office (IIOBC). This investigation is in its early stages, and investigators are working to determine the circumstances leading up to the incident. Maclure Road, between Townline Road and Clearbrook Road, remains closed as officers continue to gather evidence. Speaking as a fan, what happened at PRX’s off-season event in Fuzhou crossed the line, following players to their hotel, invading personal space, and spreading misinformation. First, jason didn’t high five i think he was focused on competing not because of disrespect at all. and second PLEASE respect the privacy of jason, his girlfriend and also everyone at paper rex😢 It’s okay to love and support the team but please dont cross the line🙏🏻 they’re just a human like us🥺 don’t put them in an uncomfortable situation

@ChainsSoul I think the difference is, in Challengers, teams don't have the luxury that T1 has of not understanding each other. Obviously, this does not apply in every case but nevertheless, in T2, I wholeheartedly believe, that communication should be prioritized and emphasized.

And that's it for the Ascension EMEA. Out of the 4 teams that ascended over the years, it's pretty insane that 1 full french and 2 full turkish teams have made it when there's a lot of discourse around how single nationality teams are "bad" in tier 1.
