Cloudflare Analytics measures server-side HTTP requests and network traffic at the edge, capturing all bots, crawlers, and direct hits. In contrast, tools like Google Analytics track client-side user behavior via JavaScript, counting only browsers that execute the script and attempting to filter out automated traffic.

Can someone help me understand why there's such a wide gap between Cloudflare and PostHog analytics for unique visitors? Cloudflare currently hosts my website superbased.app so I'm inclined to believe its numbers more. Unique visitors during last 24 hours: Cloudflare: 685 PostHog: 30
