Mexico is showing basic human decency and sovereignty by welcoming Iranian and African teams properly — while the US treats qualified players and delegations like criminals on the tarmac, denying visas and forcing humiliating shuttles.
This is the difference between leadership that still has some independence and an empire with “mob boss mentality” — bullying, degrading, and punishing anyone who doesn’t kneel.
The West lectures everyone about “fair play” and “democracy,” yet weaponizes sports, borders, and visas for geopolitical malice. Meanwhile, CAF and Motsepe remain silent, pockets too full of FIFA/UEFA money to defend African dignity.
Mexico is proving right now why real governance matters. Respect to those hosts who choose humanity over empire arrogance. The Global South is taking notes.
