I'm not knocking the lad before he's kicked a ball so let me just get that out there. However, both Fleetwood & Ross County fans said he had a poor loan spell with them. Also has two relegations on his CV already...could just be a squad filler to cover for Hall #pvfc

@fcmad1960 @EdSmith666 Could there be legal ramifications of letting him know he is to be sacked but they are just waiting for the contract clause to kick in? Moore could argue that he was effectively relieved of the job before hand.

@EdSmith666 Sounds implausible. If you wanted to sack someone and had a break clause coming up, you'd just offer a little extra dosh to the sackee to sign a compromise agreement and leave slightly early.

Strong rumours there is a break out clause in January ( hence why the club has waited) where we can sack Moore for considerably cheaper . Hopefully Bradford away will be the last time we see Moore #pvfc

Clough adamant it wasn’t a penalty, and in his opinion Paton should of been sent off. Head of referee’s was at the game today too. it will be interesting to see it back. #PVFC

@marksporter @Dan_Townley Put another way. If Plymouth bid the release amount and offer him 8k a week, and Bolton offer us 500k more but only offer Toj £6k a week. He goes to Plymouth, and we can’t stop him.

@marksporter @Dan_Townley If three teams were bidding they would all bid the exact amount t of the release clause. That then means the vale have to let Tolaj go to them IF he wants… so they spend the extra on his wages to win that race

Gutted to see Lorent leave Vale Park. One of the nicest people you could wish to meet. The (understandable!) reaction to him leaving is testament to how much he has grown and developed on and off the pitch in the short time he has been at the club.

Every team that meets that value gets to talk to the player and if he wants to join any of them… even if someone bids more, he can. So any extra money would be given to Tolaj not the vale

@Dan_Townley To be fair though if he scores 7 or 8 by Christmas there would be a few in for him and then it gets more money for the club the highest bid gets him and also higher wages for the player. It is what it is we need a replacement, I also can’t understand why we have release clauses
