Over 70,000 people have been forcibly returned to Haiti 🇭🇹 this year. No papers. No income. No plan. Many return to violence and hunger. At the border, the EU🇪🇺 and @IOMHaiti provide life-saving assistance to returnees.

Homes gone. Income gone. Care out of reach. In Haiti, violence cuts people off from even the basics. Nearly 1.5 million people are displaced, and 5.7 million face acute hunger. EU-supported humanitarian flights help aid reach communities cut off by insecurity.

Violence in Haiti 🇭🇹 is still rising, and women face 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. In the capital, Port-au-Prince, EU-funded 🇪🇺partners and teams provide them with medical, psychological, and protection aid.

in Haiti 🇭🇹680,000 children were displaced by the violence, just in Haiti in 2025. EU partners 🇪🇺set up spaces where children can learn. Protection starts with a safe place.

52% of 🇭🇹 Haitians face 𝙖𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮 (IPC 3 or +). 1.8 million require immediate humanitarian aid. @eu_echo funded €591,5M in assistance since 1994, and is still on the ground:
