I LOVE Spa24 but the track limit rules are crazy to me. Each car is allowed six track limits every six hours. We do roughly 3080 corners per six hours and are allowed six mistakes per car, not per driver. That means one driver can do 5 of those, the next driver gets in, makes one small mistake… 30sec penalty. +/- 510 corners have to be taken perfectly for each track limit allowance. IMO the margins are too tight and leads to some farcical scenarios where it becomes a race of drive throughs. I hope this rule is opened up just slightly next year. Like… six per driver per six hours. Still extremely tight, but a little less crazy. (Or add more gravel, like we had in Monza)

Sim racing in general has always been a bit too fast, but this is silly. Might make a video about this. We'll see.

@ValentinGoBrr @PabloGz @Jacomoroder_ I'm saying there's several factors. Development, fuel, weather, setup, traffic, etc. Ofc course it is.. not deliberately but in the back of their head. That's the difference between making a shit decision and a great one.

@PabloGz ok nevermind I just looked at this Hymo Le Mans Ferrari lap. It's ridiculous. This car now is doing same straight line speed as IRL. But drives like curbs don't exist and has formula 1 grip 💀

@ValentinGoBrr Yes they slow down the cars on power to get closer to irl. Not big issue for me since they were kind of similar overall. But this corner speed difference we have now in GTP is inadmissible 💀

@27Taipan @PabloGz @Jacomoroder_ An front dive plane added will not make the car go 60 kph faster through a corner and 9s faster. Because when you say the car has been developed, that's all the car has had IRL since Le Mans. And risk is not something irl drivers think about

@PabloGz @Jacomoroder_ Sims have always been faster than real life. Risk, physical capabilities, wind, setup (make your own in a couple of hours, not days, weeks or buy one). Then there's what spec it is. The car has been developed since as well. Still fast than reality regardless but it's not all B&W
