@RoyalSerf The term femcel doesn’t even make sense, female celibate? The term Incel is short for involuntarily celebrate, it’s not specific to any gender.

@LtNamelin Why does the fnv canon character have two chins anyway?

@Truthful_ast Where the heck are the Europeans - they seem content to just build bits to be used in American systems.
as for the Russians…

It's crazy how China locked in realizing NASA's path for SLS was awful and cancelled their SLS class rocket to go all in on a Falcon 9/Starship reusable based architecture for cargo flights and crew missions to both Earth orbit and the Moon
Goes to show how much of a fumble and flawed NASA is, post 90s NASA could never dream of making a rocket like the Long March 10 and Long March 9
Also being able to do such a drastic design switch shows how ballsy CNSA and CASC are, they're not standing back and doing nothing like modern day Boeing, Lockheed, Northrop, etc
Unbelievable that in 5 years will we see dozens of humans each year fly to the Moon carried by both American and Chinese rockets

@Orbital_Perigee What would those capabilities be in your opinion?

@uncle_deluge Without mesoamerican crops world cuisine would be ass

@AnaAerospace I give it a 70% chance, Artemis IV is far too complex
English

@The_Guy_Space The fact that the super heavy could very easily destroy the entire catch tower is not talked about enough. This could be a humongous problem for Artemis IV where they intend to launch many of these for refuelling
English

@The_Guy_Space yeah, now try and scale it up to a new glenn class rocket. You will never be able to have a tower that big at sea. This thing is tiny

Hell nah who do they think they are

@domini_astra @SpoxSpace There is nothing cheap about starliner lmao
English

Starliner not being the same diameter as the booster it flies on was always offputting to me. From the very first glance it makes it look poorly engineered, rushed and cheaply built (even though they got over 3x what dragon was awarded and SpaceX technically developed two spacecraft on that budget

@n0tw0rd @ThePrimalDino Gagarin and John Glenn were treated that way, interestingly alan shepard did end up going to the moon despite also being an iconic valuable figure to nasa

> spend years and years of your life to train to be an astronaut
> never been to space, but finally get assigned to a mission
> it’s the first moon mission in over half a century
> quit being an astronaut when you get back home because nothing will ever top that

CSA astronaut Colonel Jeremy Hansen has helped shape a new chapter in Canadian space exploration. As he will embark on new professional opportunities this fall, we thank him for inspiring Canadians and strengthening Canada's place in the future of space. canada.ca/en/space-agenc…

@ThePrimalDino He could have totally been assigned a mission to the surface in the next decade, why would he quit?

The technology is supposed to scale from 3m to 12m in diameter. There's no news since 2023 though.

@topten10fish I wonder why blue origin doesn't paint those areas black and leaves them as yellowish brown, is the paint really that heavy or what?
