thoughts on DRB seeing a lot of mixed opinions on the album, and honestly I understand both sides. Lucki switched his sound up again, so I get why the discourse is split. the direction he went for a lot of these songs reminds me of Not So Virgo Of You and that was one of my favorite songs from last year, i’m glad he leaned into that sound more i’ve seen a lot of people complain about the autotune, but if you’ve never really liked autotune lucki in the first place then I don’t expect this album to change your mind. there’s a few songs i’m lower on, but the standout tracks are so good that they outweigh a lot of that for me. some of these songs already feel like they’re gonna age really well, i’m looking forward to the music videos
