I think CAs need to change how they give service to their clients Most CAs just file returns and suggest ways to save tax But you rarely find one who actually helps clients grow their business In fact, most don’t even fully understand their client’s business CAs should start looking beyond the balance sheet and understand the business of their client

CAs are the most under confident professionals in India. How do you justify charging a ₹2500 annual flat fee while giving out year round, on demand business and tax advice over Call and WhatsApp any time of the day? A doctor takes ₹1000 per visit. A lawyer won't even give an opinion without a fee. Yet CAs give away premium consulting for free just to keep a client. Why can't CAs charge consultation fees? Who exactly is stopping you?

@ValueWithPrem The general perception is are you have gyan give it. The other day i was filing ITR he didn't had refund and after i asked for fee he said but sir i don't have refund i was like so what man, work hard go beyond 13L. I am doing my job give me my fee. Started haggling

@ValueWithPrem Not required... They charge good amount.. I'm paying 20k for two accounts for making computation, balance sheet etc and file taxes.. We don't need more expense on our head

@ValueWithPrem My CA charges 2k PM for my GST filing. ITR different charges. But he is available for the whole year. Hell of a guy who knows what he is doing
