In America, the presumption of innocence is inviolable. It is supposed to be a bedrock principle of our legal system. The presumption of innocence demands rigorous legal guardrails, referred to as procedural due process. Those who resent this arrangement should really channel their resentment against the Constitution, the document which safeguards the God-given rights of every citizen and lays out these protections boldly. One remains innocent until a court of competent jurisdiction renders a judgment. This process is what separates America from the world, and is what makes this country exceptional. Let’s not lose sight of this.

So proud of the groundbreaking discovery of Stage V Cancer (meaning he’s figured out how to live w/Stage 4 disease) by Dr. Matteo Ligorio. And I’m honored to call him a friend. One of the world’s top pancreatic oncologists, Dr. Ligorio’s breakthrough offers hope to so many.

Congratulations, Senator Darline Graham. You've been a United States Senator for 24 hours, and the women of The View are already mad at you. I'd say you're off to a pretty good start. Your brother would be proud.

Social media is filled with memorial and tributes just about every time a lawmaker dies. And more often than not – the pundit crowd begins their posts with a caveat: “I did not agree with Senator so and so, but…” or “We disagreed on everything and he was a sorry so-and-so, but...” If you have to qualify your tribute or memorial – it is not a tribute. It's an example of bad upbringing. Senator Lindsey Graham died suddenly over the weekend. And I noticed that a good many folks on both sides of the aisle were offering backhanded condolences. Senator Graham was a good and decent man. He took care of his family. He fought for the unborn. He stood up for religious liberty. He was a friend to our president. And he will be missed. And as Grandma Starnes used to say – if you can’t say something nice – it’s just best to hush up.

In a time when too many run for office just to get on TV or more clicks on social media, Lindsey Graham actually did things to help people.   That’s called public service.  And he was always there to help the people of South Carolina he loved. RIP American Patriot. 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 He Kissed His Baby’s Photo Before Every Jump (USA – 101st Airborne, 1944) Sergeant Michael Donnelly carried a photo of his newborn son tucked into his helmet strap. Every time he jumped—Normandy, Holland, Bastogne—he kissed it first. He was killed in action in January 1945. 🕊️His fellow paratroopers returned the photo, folded with care, to his wife. On the back, he’d written, “Every time I fly, I land in you.” #WWII #History #FamiliesServeToo
