@sharondaniel91 NOBODY wants to use critical thinking? If you get a receipt, how is it still going to charge your card? Gas station buddy is angry because a random walked up on him, threw the pump down, and started yelling at him for NO REASON. Yall are sad😂😂😂

My guess is either the Indian fixed a loose holster, or he doesn't know anything about it. This scam is called false by all of the fact checkers, so that tells ME it's true, but only half true. It IS BEING DONE!!! POINT BLANK!!! Keep your eyes 👀 open. Generally speaking though, it's NOT the gas station doing it. They aren't going to risk losing their businesses over a few hundred bucks each day. That's bad business. They make that or more every 10 transactions. So in a busy station, that would hurt profit, not turn profit. There ARE SCAMMERS DOING THIS. THE POLICE ARE WARNING PEOPLE! The fact checkers are lying if you look it up. Now, are they lying to protect business owners and their general safety, or the dregs of society that are actually doing this and causing the actual problems stealing from everyone.

The video catches apparent tampering at one Shell station in Riverdale, NJ—not a statewide “loophole.” NJ’s full-service law (the last in the US after Oregon repealed its ban in 2023) requires attendants to pump gas for safety and other reasons, which does mean customers have less direct control. Any device or trick to over-dispense, skim, or manipulate pumps is still illegal fraud. Report it, watch the meter, and pay attention to the total. Scams happen at self-serve stations too.

@mattvanswol Sometimes rabid animals need to be eliminated to protect the healthy ones. Sad, but true. Decline is a choice. We shouldn't have to live in constant fear....
