@AmericaPapaBear Why did the prosecution negotiate a plea deal with a self-admitted child killer?
Let’s start there. Then we can discuss why the judge agreed with it.
English

🚨SHOCKING: Judge Jacqueline Bluth of Clark County, Nevada granted a plea deal to Christian Rabino who is accused of beating his girlfriend's 1-year-old son, Kai Tesoro to death.
Bluth had the power to reject the plea agreement that granted Rabino probation instead of prison time.
She stated that she didn't like the deal but accepted it anyway.
This is NOT justice.

@bigwoods86 @travelingflying I saved this, I hope you don’t mind. I couldn’t help it, It’s exceptionally true.
English

@C_3C_3 Real, because that’s not a “justice system”—That’s a volume-based negotiation business model tailored for criminals.

@Geniustechw No, it makes him a superficial copy of a female.
There’s no “equivalent” to being a female. You either are one or you’re not.

They didn’t convict for murder because they didn’t want to.
The DA literally got on TV and stated publicly that defendants hold all the power in the administration of their own due process and that was the reason for the 5 year delay.
In other words, enacting new policies isn’t going to solve the issue.
The real problem is you have people in positions of public trust who should not be there. Period.
English

An 84-year-old #Grandpavicha A kind man. A life taken too soon.
The result: no murder conviction, no elder abuse, released after 5 years.
The jury saw limited evidence. The full picture was not shown.
Our community is asking:
Is this justice? Are seniors safe?
We need change.
Public safety must come first.
Solutions we need in San Francisco:
• Full transparency so juries can see the full picture within the law
• Stronger sentencing for violent attacks on seniors
• Limits on repeat diversion for violent offenders
• Tracking repeat offenders and enforcing accountability
• Equal voice for victims’ families in court
• Review of policies that allow early release after serious violence

@Rightanglenews fuck Iryna. and anyone using it as an excuse to act racist and say “i was radicalized” like ead.

Unbelievable? You were a cop, what does your instinct tell you?
I know what mine tells me. That those people are more interested in what they can do as opposed to what they should do, in accordance with the law, obviously.
Lack of ethics and integrity come to mind. In that regard, what it boils down to is you have people in positions of authority and influence who shouldn’t be there. This is actually prevalent everywhere, not just the legal system.
People who disagree can answer this question then: Why are over 90% of cases negotiated through plea agreements?
Like the one you posted about.
That’s not a “justice system”, that’s a volume-based negotiation business model tailored for criminals.
If as a prosecutor, if you can’t at least pursue a murder charge against a man who admits to killing a child, why and how are you a prosecutor?
If I was the prosecutor, I’m not negotiating. A child’s life was brutally stolen. Not enough evidence? Inconsistent statements from the mother?
I’d take my chances.
No, this is what I think happened. I think the judge knew once a jury heard the evidence, they’d find him guilty, so not only did they deny actual justice for the victim and his family, they also denied the public a chance to grant it.
I also read where the defendant represented himself through court proceedings.
So, not only does he literally get away with a murder that he admitted to, he made a mockery of the court in the process.
English

This is absolutely unbelievable.
Christian Moniz Rabino pled guilty to having beaten 17 month-old Kai Tesoro to death. Doctors were clear that the child’s fatal injuries were caused by abuse. Rabino was originally charged with murder, but charges were reduced to manslaughter.
In a deal worked out by prosecutors and approved by Judge Jacqueline Bluth, for beating a baby to death, Rabino has been placed on probation, given a curfew, and ordered to take anger management classes.
For beating a one-year-old to death.

During a recent California State University Board of Trustees meeting, assistant sociology professor Jamie O’Quinn defended trans athletes by claiming she’s “had plenty of girlfriends with p*nises” and “trans women are women.”
“The fact that I have to get up here and have to say that trans women are women and that’s what I have to use my time to do is absurd,” O’Quinn complained.
“Shame on you. Shame on all of you…Shame on you for using lesbian politics as a front for your transphobia because this lesbian has had plenty of girlfriends with p*nises.”
