@chro_Mia is actually a really fun moment especially when there's an opposing players downed at once in cqc. You have that standoff that's only really possible bc of their availability and I don't want those to go away.

@chro_Mia I don't mind it very much, people have them and you know they have them so it should always be in your mind to confirm the kill, its the same as fighting a Triage you know he can rez so he should be your primary target. The moments where you're down and fighting who revives first

Don't get me wrong not immediately fixing the content vault was Bungie's greatest mistake, but their article explaining why they had to do it should've been "THE GAME WILL EXPLODE IF WE DONT DO THIS" copy pasted over and over bc people STILL think vaulting was about install size

@PrimeStrafe @FarrisOfThemAII What Im trying to say is I think now considering the reality where this series is at and the extreme uncertainty of its future we should try to look back more fondly on what we did get to see, we'll probably never get anything out from the vault again. Im glad this story existed.

@PrimeStrafe @FarrisOfThemAII I dunno i think part of it is a difference in life philosophy, the more aware and accepting you are of the impermanence of all things in life the less it might matter to you. I think that's why it doesn't matter to me as much. Stuff doesn't stay around, I loved it while i had it.

@VariksTheKell @FarrisOfThemAII The problem is, how many of that content was unvaulted and how many is imposible to play back? Even if we payed for that content. Yeah, im glad we are staying in one game, but this is not the way, specially for new players and people who invest their money here

@PrimeStrafe @FarrisOfThemAII i think we need to continue to blame activision for wanting 3 games and praise bungie for actually listening to us and staying in D2, if they didn't try to contractually force bungie into a trilogy everything could have been in a single game instead of split and unvaulted later

@FarrisOfThemAII Well, i mean... A lot of assets, animations and mechanics from the Red War are still present on this days, even in the tower. If the game was literally to explode just by a few lines of code... then jesus christ, thats one of the worst coding and coorporative descitions in gaming

@rosoddle even if that art was lost to a vault forever it was the reason more art was allowed to be made in the future, that makes up for it for me. Sorry to anyone who lost the chance to experience it, please try to cherish what you were able to instead.

@rosoddle you can disagree with it on a moral or artistic level and i won't refute you on that but from a purely technical perspective it was the right thing to do and benefitted the most people in the long run, Destiny 2 was not designed to last and Bungie had to work around that
