A senior Google engineer just dropped a 421-page doc called Agentic Design Patterns. Every chapter is code-backed and covers the frontier of AI systems: → Prompt chaining, routing, memory → MCP & multi-agent coordination → Guardrails, reasoning, planning This isn’t a blog post. It’s a curriculum. And it’s free.

The cause? A multidrug-resistant infection linked to pet store puppies. Mike was one of 113 people across 17 states affected by the outbreak. Only one drug worked. Read full story and what it means for #AMR in our Discord. Link: discord.gg/se3dYfpxPe

PUPPIES MAKE PEOPLE SICK, yes! you read that right. Mike, a 67-year-old retired professor, brought home a puppy named Mabel. Within a week, he was in the hospital. What started as diarrhea and fatigue quickly escalated into kidney failure, ICU admissions, and emergency surgery

What do we know for sure about antiviral resistance? 1️⃣ It already exists 2️⃣ It emerges fastest in immunocompromised patients 3️⃣ Viruses evolve differently from bacteria 4️⃣ Surveillance is weaker than for antibiotics 5️⃣ Prevention matters more than ever 1/2

Exactly. We can manage the risk of resistance but not eliminate it! Exactly why we need to continue to invest into new solutions for tackling AMR.

Preventing infections doesn’t start in #DeSci labs. It starts with everyday habits. Clean hands, safe food, fresh air, vaccinations, and staying home when sick reduce infections and the need for antimicrobials slowing antimicrobial resistance. Small actions. Real protection.

@join_microdao This is such an important point. AMR isn’t just a hospital problem, it’s shaped daily by simple behaviors that quietly compound at scale.

1/2 Hygiene: A Powerful Weapon Against AMR Antimicrobial resistance doesn’t start in hospitals alone, it often begins with preventable infections in everyday life. Practicing good hygiene: regular handwashing and proper sanitation reduces the spread of infectious agents.

AMR isn’t driven by hospitals alone. Industrial and corporate activities play a critical role in accelerating resistance especially through untreated industrial effluents and pharmaceutical wastes. link: shorturl.at/EIOQF

Delhi’s air now carries antibiotic-resistant superbugs well above WHO limits. This isn’t pollution, it’s a public-health crisis. Urgent, comprehensive action on AMR and air quality is non-negotiable. ndtv.com/health/high-le…

Closing out the year with a reflection on what we’ve been building at @join_microdao. This year was about foundations, not hype: • starting with evidence • reducing friction for AMR work • rethinking how impact gets funded The problems are structural. solutions need to be too
MicroDAO@join_microdao

AMR isn’t short on effort, but on systems that connect evidence, insight, and funding. In 2025, MicroDAO focused on building those foundations for: • A shared evidence layer • A collective environment • More resilient funding models Link 👇: {shorturl.at/TmIXC}

In 2019, Ella faced the most severe drug-resistant infection she had ever experienced. Stories like Ella’s are becoming more common, but they rarely make the news. This is why World AMR Awareness Week exists. AMR is here. This #WAAW week, we confront it together with #DeSci.
