@aravind Isn’t it clear that it is USA who has been pushing for a ceasefire which Iran is not accepting. Inspite of having a strong military USA has not been able to open the Strait of Hormuz and will never be able to as a simple drone can destroy the tanker.

So Trump did not talk about ending the war as many were claiming. He's going to hit Iran more. He's going to try get some control of its oil and strait of Hormuz. Which means US will try occupy at least an island in the strait.
