On BDS I was surprise to see his stance too. I think he got influenced by Noam on that one. In his speeches he quotes Gandhi so many times. Gandhi's career was built on non-cooperation movement where Indians were called to boycott all British goods, resign from all govt jobs, not serving in the British army and not pay taxes. I think uptill Oct 7 Norman has made peace with the 2 state solution and did not feel one state with equal rights was possible at all. He had devoted his life and maybe felt any viable solution towards 2 states mimicking 1967 border is the only real possibility. In a very weird way he sympathised with Hamas actions much more than he ever did with BDS. I also don't understand why he felt BDS will lead to destruction of Israel as a state even while BDS was also in its infant phase. I guess his jewish roots does play a role. I mean he grew in a household where both his parents were in concentration camp. But still i would say he has done much more and picked many sensitive topics which no one dares to especially jews like whether rapes occurred on Oct 7. As for apartheid I think he has highlighted it many times and also stressed on how the problem being the Israeli society itself.

US has championed turning diaspora against their native country by brainwashing them and then using them as intelligent assets. They did the same with Soviets as well as Chinese and Khalistanis. They actively let only those ones in and restrict others who already have deep hatred against their govt and display the same in their visa or asylum forms.
