I love that all these draft analyst/draft "Experts" are being challenged. Finally someone needs to be critical of the real issues with the draft. These guys are parading around as experts and yet their mock drafts year after year are incredibly inaccurate and usually fall apart outside the top 10. They should ban mock drafts for starters.

@NinerNick_22 It is hard to debate with people who count good picks as "lucky". You draft a bad player it's not called unlucky. A good pick is a good pick and they have a strong core of players who they drafted. The next stars might already be there. Just have to wait and see.

My issue with the #49ers draft is when will they get their next wave of stars? They did nothing to close the young talent gap between the Seahawks & Rams IMO. I'd feel so much better with OCJ (22) & EMW (22). Bosa is turning 29. CMC 30. Fred 30. Kittle 33. Purdy is their only mid-20s star. Of course the rebuttal will be "no one saw Warner, Kittle, or Purdy" becoming stars... The 49ers got lucky to find them. They've struggled to find PREMIUM TALENT IN PREMIUM ROUNDS, other than Nick Bosa falling into their laps bc Kyler Murray pursued football instead of baseball.

@DonAtkinsonNFL I'm sure it will be comforting to all the 6-11 and 7-10 teams that they draft better than John Lynch while watching his team in the playoffs.

@Vasco491 @49ersSportsTalk Dugger is unlike any other LB we have and have had in quite awhile. I wanted Barham even after Romello but I'm cool we didn't now with getting Dugger later. Dude was all conference safety and 'grew' into a linebacker and has even more insane measurables and QB heat.

@Coach_Yac This fanbase is just so overly negative. You would think that we were fans of the Jets or something. For as much as an uppity jerk he is at times, Lombardi is a necessary follow just to balance all this out.

I’m seeing a lot of people freaking out over yesterday’s picks and I totally understand why. When it comes to drafting, the 49ers haven’t hit a pick “out of the park” in several years. There should be ZERO confidence in this front office when it comes to them drafting players.

@Coach_Yac I expect OL to be addressed by a couple of these picks but I wouldn't mind Genesis Smith at 107.
