They deeply violate Quranic guidelines. You cannot just merrily & explicitly strip our millennia old Hindu traditions of their religious meaning to suit your convenience. All these rituals are clearly & overtly rooted in Hindu sacraments with very specific sacred meanings and symbolism. Try to hide the Hindu origins of these rituals as much as you like but you cannot deny them. It’s ok to just admit that Pakistanis are a pathetic lot without any culture of their own - who hate their own roots but want to keep enjoying them. Just don’t expect Hindus to stay quiet about it.

It’s not an aarti ritual. They’re bringing in the mehndi that is brought in with diyas. Maayoon, mehndi, dholak, ghori charhna, ubtan/haldi/mehndi lagaana, vail dena, and a lot else are all part of our syncretic culture. 60% of Pakistan is Punjabi. These are Punjabi traditions. There’s zero ‘identity crisis’ around them for most people.
