We are fortunate to have terrific public schools, charter schools and private schools in our community and we must do more to value our teachers. Gov must not limit ed choices and I support common-sense school choice so parents may educate their children as they see fit.

The men and women who protect and serve us deserve our respect and appreciation for their public service. In an era where governments are slashing police funding, I support strengthening our law enforcement agencies to better protect our communities and our homes.

Celeste and I loved being surrounded by the whole crew in church yesterday for Easter. We love our Brookwood Church family-it was such a powerful service. I hope your family had a wonderful time together celebrating the risen Savior.

I had the privilege of attending the Legislative Town Hall in Fountain Inn last evening. It was a pleasure hearing from Mayor GP McLeer, Representatives Garry Smith, Mark Willis, Ashley Trantham and Senator Danny Verdin. I look forward to more events like this in our district.
