Maria sends $7,500 home. Her bank takes $275 in spread, wires, and correspondent fees. Four days later it lands. On VaultLeap: $56. $5,256 back in her pocket every year. Cross-border banking, rebuilt.

@Vaultleap That's a hefty fee taken out for sending money. Nice to see a better option available.

Our consular sections around the world have seen many Americans run into problems accessing money abroad due to relying on apps. Some common cash transfer apps in the United States do NOT work abroad. If you are traveling outside of the United States make sure you have access to a credit or debit card that works internationally (and have a back-up plan!).

My dear front-end developers (and anyone who’s interested in the future of interfaces): I have crawled through depths of hell to bring you, for the foreseeable years, one of the more important foundational pieces of UI engineering (if not in implementation then certainly at least in concept): Fast, accurate and comprehensive userland text measurement algorithm in pure TypeScript, usable for laying out entire web pages without CSS, bypassing DOM measurements and reflow
