@DKNExCDN As far as I know, negotiations re: USMCA are just starting. Trump unilaterally imposed steel and aluminum tariffs on us. There were no negotiations as far as I know.

@VectorBob @JimChuong Many other countries have successfully negotiated with him. The ones that are having trouble are the WEF globalists.

Canadians are unhappy all the time because they’re broke. As a Canadian, my travels to the U.S. have had no issues. Anyone that says otherwise is lying - they don’t know. Americans are 100% friendlier, and more tolerant than Canadians right now. It’s not even close.

@DKNExCDN @JimChuong Is there anyone who can negotiate with Trump? We’ll see what happens with the trade agreement. That’s really the only thing that matters as far as his ability to negotiate with T.

@DKNExCDN Just to be clear, I’m not a far lefty. I consider myself right in the middle but if I’m being forced to choose sides it’ll be with the left. I’m not at all happy with what is happening in Canada right now, but I’d rather Carney be at the helm than PP.

No, it's because he lies about things. For example, he lied about his recent conversation with China. He lies about his involvement in the Canadian economy over the past 10 years. He is sneaky when he gives Brookfield contracts. He waffles on issues. How many times has he changed his mind about involvement in the Iranian efforts? He was disgraced as the head of the British bank, and he will be disgraced before he leaves office in Canada.

@DKNExCDN @JimChuong You have to ask yourself why you think Carney is sly, sneaky etc. It’s because that’s what you’ve been told to think of him.

First of all, that chart is a little misleading. Americans' view of Canada is pretty much at the top of the scale, tied with Denmark at 80%. Germany and France are at 75%. So, Americans have very high regard for Canada, simply not as much as previously, which was extremely high. From Grok: Donald Trump has not directly said the words "I will destroy Canada economically" or any exact equivalent in public statements, posts on Truth Social, or interviews. However, he has repeatedly imposed or threatened high tariffs on Canadian imports (starting with 25% in early 2025, escalating in some sectors), suggested using "economic force" to pressure Canada." He was speaking in the context of tariff negotiations, but with anti-Trump hysteria, his words have been intentionally misinterpreted to mean that he wants to destroy Canada economically. He wants no such thing. But fear porn gives liberals a boner. It enables them to be convinced that their sly, sneaky, secretive WEF globalist banker is a better leader.

@DKNExCDN @JimChuong I’ll research, but I recall him being asked (paraphrasing here) whether or not he would act on Canada militarily and he said “we don’t have to, we can do it economically.”

Gas is now $1.70 a litre here in Hamilton. That’s the current cost of Trump raping children #MapleMaga. In case you were wondering.

He hasn't said anything that would make Americans dislike Canadians. I think the only thing that has really bothered them was the US National Anthem being booed at a hockey game in Canada. Trump has pissed off Canadians -- and they have a right to be pissed off. No one likes the "51st State" comments.

If Donald Trump destroyed Iran's military and has won the war, then why does he want $200 billion of U.S. taxpayer dollars to keep it going? 🤷‍♀️

@JavierBlas I was told the US doesn’t need the Strait to be opened, that they are energy self sufficient.

The US and its allies are making a concerted effort to de-escalate the oil/gas war, having witnessed that Iran was willing -- and able -- to climb the escalation ladder very quickly. To be seen whether Tehran plays ball. Whatever the case, the Strait of Hormuz remains closed.

@VectorBob @JimChuong That's very odd...and surprising. Most Americans have nothing but positive feelings toward Canadians. MAGA people are asking that Canadians be given permission to move to the US. Were you wearing an "Elbows Up!" hat or T-shirt, or something else that might have triggered them?
