Fellow makers with a @snapmaker #U1, I am pleased to announce my top-mounted, double-spool holder. I've been trying to print shoes on my U1, and found using the regular filament path caused too much resistance with TPUs softer than 95A, so I designed this solution. It's designed to work with the Bambu Lab AMS Lite spool hubs because they're spring-loaded to prevent too much filament unspooling (which was a problem I encountered in my first iteration). You can modify the spool arms to use your own preferred solution. I have uploaded the models to Makerworld and @Printables. The 3MF contains pre-painted supports, as using automatic supports may cause fitment issues with the threaded parts. Links are in the thread below. Please let me know if you give this a try! Voldeminion printing in progress. No, it’s not being printed on my XL, but the printer is a good indication of the scale. This part took about 9hours at 0.12mm layer height with 3 walls and 15% Cubic infill. He gonna be a big boy!❤️
