About this substack issue, I think more people should write personal essays not shitty articles. Write about your life, tribe, career, poems, interests, language and maybe shitty opinions not a piss poor attempt at societal issues with or no research.

And you can just tell they are more and more too AI-esque. People need to learn that authenticity is more captivating than just trying so hard to sound smart.

I might be biased, but every two scrolls on Substack feels like déjà vu. It’s just TikTok’s pseudo intellectual content articulated in writing. Unoriginal, unresearched ideas repurposed in buzzwords. I miss when it was random stories, not a race to sound profound.
