@Tesla @elonmusk diesel trucks are causing horrific health effects on many communities. The fumes from diesel trucks are highly carcinogenic.

@Tesla I’m still getting phantom braking. I disable v12 for this reason. I would change my mind if it never phantom braking was completely eliminated.

@jspujji Apple could have raised more money. I heard this first hand from someone who came over from Next computer with Steve. Steve’s story is not accurate.

A story I’ve found myself repeating internally a lot lately: In 1997, Apple had 90 days of cash left. Steve Jobs had just rejoined. Today, it’s a $3 TRILLION company. What saved it? Most people will answer: “Innovation!” “Product!” “The iPod!” “The iPhone” ALL wrong. Before he added anything, Jobs REDUCED to win. A few weeks into his return, he drew this simple 2x2. At the time, Apple had SCORES of products in several markets. He ended all of it with this simple focus. As a part of it, he made the hard decision to lay off ~5k people. This focus and simplicity allowed the company to thrive. The iPod was 4 full years later. And 6 years later, came the iPhone. The path to domination starts simple and focused.

@SawyerMerritt @Tesla I have a 2022 model Y and I have no regrets about purchasing it. The gas savings, no maintenance and long range make this an amazing vehicle. There’s no question that it will be only cheaper to purchase in the future.

A base Model Y Long Range in the U.S. is now 42.3% less expensive than it was in late 2022: • Oct 2022: $65,990 • Feb 2024: $38,090 (incl. $7.5k Federal EV credit) Most ppl in the U.S. are able to use the full $7.5k Fed credit. As @Tesla said, more affordable than you think. Note: Feb 2024 price above is for a base Model Y Long Range currently in Tesla's inventory.

@Tesla 1. Deliver better build quality- service appointments on new vehicles for paint problems should never happen. 2. Phantom breaking should never happen. It’s much less with every update, however. 3. Don’t remove sensors from the vehicle.

@SawyerMerritt @Tesla @TeslaSolar @lastbulb It appears PGE has the bulk of the VPP. The biggest bottle neck is likely electricians. I received a 9k quote just for the installation of two power walls to an existing solar.
