just at a glimpse of my setup previously, i had the desk on the left at home and my monitors wouldn’t fit normally so i had to balance them on books that were slightly off the desk so i could fit them both diagonally…. i had that setup for like 7 years lmao

hi guys, if ye don’t know i am retiring the velcord for a smaller server - the original was made back in 2021 and became a social hub of sort for another community which has led the server to be pretty bloated in terms of there being a bunch of ppl there who joined for that purpose the new discord link is discord.gg/BzqE77GYn7 - the old velcord will be still up, i wont delete it, but you wont be able to use or post in it after Friday 10th 🫡

sorry but this makes me so mad being a little girl who likes toy soldiers, hot wheels, guns, beyblades etc just means you are a little girl who likes those things i loved playing with my brothers old soldiers outside and collecting bugs and playing with hot wheels as a kid, that doesn’t mean i was a “bad” example of being a girl or anything to do with my gender this line of thinking (girls do X, boys do Y) literally made me hate all aspects of my own femininity to the point where i starved myself to try to stop having curves, was incredibly misogynistic, and completely rejected that anything positive could be associated with femininity because i felt so stuck in a box can we please not regress like 60 years in terms of gender stereotypes thank you

i’m getting a new desk from Ikea on Thursday and i’m so excited ye have no idea. i’m upgrading from an 80cm desk to 140cm and i’ll have SO MUCH SPACE!!!! i’ll probably post a pic of the before and after so ye can see how ive been struggling
