don’t i know it brother 😭 i actually went to the doctor to ask if my hormones were out of whack bc my hair grows so quickly, i always joke that i get five o clock stubble on my legs at 12 o clock!!!! shits unfair!!!!! then you get fuckers who have the thinnest lightest hair ever 😡 i got told before “oh there’s no reason to shave your thighs because the hair there is so light anyways” like…. maybe in your planet but i live in Yetiworld

I got 50% mediterranean blood in me, i just barely dodged having hair on my back (thank god for that) but everything else is covered. Shaving works perfectly fine, but the downside is that it grows back so fast you can already see it on my legs after 2 days so for conventions I have to do it at the hotel and you can't re-shave that early since it'll irritate the hell out of the skin.

So i tried epilating, after an hour everything hurts and it didn't even work on some areas. I have way too much hair and its very thick so it has no chance to getting through it all and especially on sensitive parts (feet etc) it hurts just way too much. I'll probably need the entire day to get only my legs done and it's not a fun experience nor is the result really that good. You can tell they genuinely don't want men with a lot of body hair to live. I guess the only thing left is laser removal, but i hate that it's more or less permanent...

@truekaiser_ch as a woman with iberian ancestry i understand the dread that comes with epilation, honestly i can only stand to use it on my face/arms, legs and anywhere else are way too sensitive! subsequent uses make you more tolerant to it afaik

It was grabbing my hair mostly fine, it was about half-length from my usual, but it takes a while to get it all. It's not like an electric shaver that gets rid of it all in one swipe which makes the pain worse. I think these weren't necessarily made for super thick hair, it worked much better on my arms, but they were more sensitive than my legs too... I think the biggest problem is that doing the entire body filled me with intense dread after i spent 30 minutes on one leg, I'm willing to admit i'm not man enough to endure suffering like that... I respect everyone who accepts this as their routine. I'll keep it for now and see how the spot i've done recovers and if subsequent uses make it easier / less painful.
