This could just be a rumor, but I heard that Daigo was doing crouch tech OS (and other Options Selects) at SFIV events in the US before we knew about it and that’s part of the reason he dominated so long.

@fushichohime The culture with you guys is it's an unfair advantage to have a cab in your residence which is I guess debatable. I won't argue it's not an advantage but for the bemani side specifically, we have so many people who own cabs that we'd have to ban alot of people lol.

@fushichohime No it really isn't because the culture with DDR is it's a decades old game, the players grew up, got some good paying jobs (or some of them), so many of them have private cabs. It became a problem when Chris had official access which isn't allowed and he lied about it + more.

@zdj74pw5 The DDR incident was not done because of covid. Chris and the rest of his friends have been trying to get their own eamuse connected DDR cabs for years because they hated going to a public arcade and lines and maintenance. He had no intention of stopping until his cab got banned.

@thisislijoe You forgot the part where those unlock codes were leaked early and Capcom was c&ding people who uploaded videos and pictures. That was actually not a good time just thinking about Capcom and onos reaction at the time.

Speaking of unlocks in the arcade days. I’ve told this story before but I slept in my car in the streets on Manhattan around the block from CF when oni/evil ryu unlocked in sf4. I knew I was going to drive back the next day asap so decided to save myself the trip

・実際の入力(物理的な接触)から判定までの遅延(平均)はACでもおそらく50ms〜100msくらいあります(ゲームによりますがスロー映像を撮るとわかる) ・その遅延のブレ(標準偏差)は少ないと思います(低スペ端末でCS音ゲーするとかは除く) 人間はすごいので勝手に100msくらい手前で動くようになります ※間違ってたらすまんけど、太鼓の達人のグリーン→ニジイロで入力遅延を調べた時に100ms→80msとかになった記憶がある
