Casemiro causes a technical foul there.
🀄𝑴𝒂𝒙𝒊 𝑹𝒊𝒐𝒔🔞@utd_rios
“IF” he had run faster, he would've intercepted that pass that led to the goal, just saying 😏
English

@NoushardMUFC You are showing player FC with Angelo stiller saying he’s press resistant 🤣🤣🤣🤣
English

The biggest thing people on this app won’t accept is to move away from Player FC.
You see how you have a good point but you have to make something clear first “I used to love Mainoo” to avoid back lash from his fan group
That is insane honestly.
We should be able to voice our opinions here like any other fan base but the way Mainoo is protected is the same as Rashford was before hell came loose .
For him
FergiesRightRef@FergiesRightRef
If Man Utd are really serious, they build a midfield of : Tonali, Anderson(or Wharton) and Bruno. I used to love Mainoo. But he hasn't improved in 4 years and I am not player FC. He thinks he has made it because everyone keeps telling him that. Wrong attitude.
English

@Tezskii Facts he is praising a player he’s never even watched stiller is really not all that tbh and he’s a defensive liability
English

@NoushardMUFC Stiller is the most overhyped player I’ve seen I’m sure you’ve never even watched stuggart press resistance defensive work rate bro stiller best ability is passing and that’s it
English

This is based on data, performance metrics, and role output not just opinions or eye test takes.
1.Defensive ability
Mainoo ❌
Tonali ✅
Stiller ✅
Anderson ❌
2.Ball winning (duels, interceptions, recoveries)
Mainoo ❌
Tonali ✅
Stiller ✅
Anderson ❌
3. Press resistance (retention under pressure, turnovers avoided)
Mainoo ✅
Tonali ❌
Stiller ✅
Anderson ❌
4. Progressive passing (line-breaking passes, forward passes)
Mainoo ❌
Tonali ❌
Stiller ✅
Anderson ✅
5.Positional discipline

6.Tempo control

Stiller ✅
Anderson ✅
7. Work rate & stamina
Mainoo ❌
Tonali ✅
Stiller ✅
Anderson ❌
✅ represents the best two out of the four players
❌ represent the worst two out of the four players
If you’re building a serious midfield for Manchester United, the data points to one thing clearly:
Tonali + Stiller is the most complete pairing.
You get defensive security, structure, ball winning, and control from deep.
You get tempo, progression, and consistency across all phases.
It’s balanced. It’s sustainable. It covers almost every weakness.
Mainoo becomes a luxury 8 in games where control is already established.
Anderson fits better in a more advanced or rotational role.
If United want control, intensity, and structure back in midfield…
Tonali & Stiller is the answer.
Now some might argue Stiller is in a weaker league, this means Anderson replaces him.
Mainoo still becomes a rotational player in this case😉.
Numbers don’t lie.

@analyzingfutbol The goal wasn’t even entirely their fault I think with better fowards they could have even shown much more quality
English

@Veloo078 You brought them into discussion I didn’t say any is available either
English

Anderson and Mainoo cannot be it.
I like both players, but that midfield pairing does not compete at EPL or UCL level.
The profile balance is wrong. Neither player is a true tempo controller or defensive anchor. There is no consistent ball-winner. No one screens the back line properly.
Who is winning duels? Who is stopping transitions? Right now, no one.
Mainoo can dictate tempo in phases, but he does not control game speed. He can slow it down, but he cannot raise the intensity when needed.
Anderson brings energy and box-to-box movement, but who holds position? Who protects the space in front of the defence? That role is missing.
That imbalance kills the midfield structure.
Either you separate them, or you fix the profile.
You need a player like Tonali, Stiller, or Guimarães. A controller. A presence. Someone who anchors, wins duels, and sets the rhythm.
As it stands, Mainoo and Anderson together is not sustainable. Even Japan finessed a win thru them.

CP@UtdCitypriest
If Mainoo and Anderson are your dream midfield duo for Man Utd, then I’m sorry you don’t have the club’s best interests at heart.
English

@Veloo078 Oh it’s the same thing, am taking Pedri, Vitinha, Neves or De jong in a heartbeat
English

@NoushardMUFC Read before you answer questions I’m clearly talking about Anderson you didn’t watch the game probably just bringing agendas about why you don’t like mainoo because your poor Amorim left
English

@Veloo078 What’s so special about Mainoo that man United risk to lose when you bench him.
That’s what i need to know
English

@Veloo078 You think making 100 vertical passes is something huge, Ugarte can do that. You can also drop in any average midfielder and make as a many passes as you want
The question is, how many key passes, accurate long crosses, passes into the final third.
That is what matters
