It is absolutely critical to remember that an animal’s status as invasive, introduced, or native has no bearing on whether you treat them kindly or cruelly. Every animal deserves humane treatment, and that includes invasive species during culling efforts.

Sympathy for invasive species is completely normal. They are not moral agents, so there is no reason to treat them as if they were blameworthy. That does not mean that control is unnecessary. The actual problem is ecological harm, not finding fault.

This is horrible. I grew up with arbitrary Youth Curfews in south Florida. It grants cops the authority to harass young people or those who appear young. Police encounters can turn deadly fast, especially when cops are on a power trip & their victims are met with unjust authority
