Combat was good. Probably the better part of the game. It's multiple ways of handling combat let you have fun with it a customize your combat style. Big and beautiful? It looks fine. Art style is interesting enough. Great stories? This one is where you lose me entirely. What great stories...? Take the main story for example. Aside from the mind take over aspect, it is pretty bland and not interesting. Dialogue is actually decently strong between characters. Jackie was great. But everything else can be chalked up to, anarchist wants corps to suffer, brain chip mutation, corps evil!, anarchist kinda wins. Maybe? Main character shoot shoot bad corp guys.

Combat in Cyberpunk 2077 is so satisfying. It can be fluent and fast paced, but it also allows creative opportunities for stealth and strategy

This might be a hot take, but I think this could be fun *IF* it’s done right. Like, think about a primarily PvE extraction shooter, where your Spartan (or ODST 👀) has to survive on a Halo ring. Go out, get supplies to support your FOB, marines and vehicles to help defend.

@TheTacticalBrit Also depending on when its set, you can have brutes, flood, even the drones, hunters. Its all there. And if they really wanted to keep it going, add different POIs like New Mombasa, or set it on a ring. Its loads of possibilities

@TheTacticalBrit If they do it during either Halo wars 2, sometime after or during reach, or anytime from CE-3 it can all fit around there. Turn the player into an ODST/Marine. Loot pool can be all the different armors from different branches, the different weapons, food water

I don't think any of this sentence makes any sense in my head 😅. Halo in a BR setting you can understand. Halo as an extraction shooter seems completely incompatible.

@squilli30279775 @PaulTassi As for playercount in Tarkov most people who have owned the game for years play it on BSG launcher, which A. Isnt on console, and B. From what I have heard you cant really get accurate player count from the launcher. So I dont really see your point?

@squilli30279775 @PaulTassi I dont look at player count so I dont really care all for it. But if you need proof that if done correctly it can be good, go check out The Division Survival. Most beloved dlc and till this day. Arc raiders took the formula and shit on it hence the genre being hated now.
