@brucefenton So you believe Democrat party policies are better for the country now. Why didn't you just say so.
English

I’m for conservative values, liberty, small government and America first and the GOP ain’t it.
I’ll support Rand Paul, Thomas Massie and any other voice for liberty locally or nationally. I’ll rejoin the party again when it’s America first.
Republicans - when you lose badly in the mid terms ask yourself if the Epstein class and Israel’s wars was worth it.

Democratic candidate Maureen Galindo pledged that she would turn the “Karnes ICE Detention Center into a prison for American Zionists." Her writings are a chilling insight into the twisted logic and rationalization of the anti-Semitism sweeping over the country. jonathanturley.org/2026/05/20/tex…

And just like the NFA taxes that were removed from SBR’s and suppressors by the Big Beautiful Bill, why are these items being registered if there are no taxes?
According to the Supreme Court in a ruling from 1937, the NFA is only constitutional because Congress has the legal authority to levy taxes, and the NFA registry is a registration not of the firearms, but of taxes paid.
So if the tax on everything covered under the NFA is $0…there is no constitutionally allowable reason for the NFA to exist. The Supreme Court must strike down the NFA.
Rep. Lauren Boebert@RepBoebert
Proud to introduce new legislation that will eliminate the remaining NFA taxes on machine guns and destructive devices. Taxing our constitutional rights is unacceptable and unconstitutional, it’s past time we put an end to it!

We are unironically moments away from people legitimately declaring DoorDash is a human right.

This is bc they do not have the time or capacity to create home cooked meals. It’s an issue countless ppl have tried to raise w leftists but big leftists online continue to shame/abuse poor ppl for being forced to rely on these services for meals, which act as a tax on the poor

@wil_da_beast630 Within Catholic teachings it's referred to as ordo amoris. VP Vance brought this up and the the Pope and Bishops argued with him.

Yeah, before we invented capitalism, you could just go frolic in the woods!
Berries would pick themselves.
Deer would stroll right up, look you in the eye and say “You look hungry,” then politely off themselves at your feet.
The birds would fly up and cook the deer for you.
Trees would topple over and conveniently assemble themselves into perfect little log cabins.
It was paradise.

Capitalism makes quitting your job feel like risking your life, because it ties your basic survival needs to staying employed. This system is predatory.

@Needed2ReadPost @BngHotCoffee @NewsOn6 Here's the bottom line, as you have conceded to a point and I have shown unquestionably.....Christianity had a major influence in the Founding of our country and in fact most States. To "eliminate" that from history is not teaching accurate history, it's teaching propaganda.
English

@VenisonStalker @BngHotCoffee @NewsOn6 The Enlightenment is as much a product of Greek and Roman philosophy as it is Christianity, if not more so.

@Needed2ReadPost @BngHotCoffee @NewsOn6 Of course they were and yes, we can debate as many have through the ages on how much and to what degree but the indisputable fact is that Christian morals and ideals play a large role in enlightenment origins.
English

@Needed2ReadPost @BngHotCoffee @NewsOn6 Looked more into Bentham and yea, he was basically a nobody regarding influence on the US. He was barely a blip in 1776 and his known works didn't happen until the 1800s, some 40 years later.
English

@VenisonStalker @BngHotCoffee @NewsOn6 Doubting that America's justice system was heavily influenced by Bentham based on your vibes is wild. Also, you conflating Deism with Christianity shows you don't understand either.
English

@Needed2ReadPost @BngHotCoffee @NewsOn6 Never said it was but the morals and values the Founders espoused is biblical in origin in many areas. At its simplest level the difference between Deism and Christianity is magic stuff. The lessons, morals, and values for both come from the same source. Including neutral Rights.
English

@VenisonStalker @BngHotCoffee @NewsOn6 Saying God exists and being Christian are not the same thing. Which moral teachings on moral issues? The part that says stone sinners, or the one that says to love them? They were very aware of Islam, and millennia of European philosophy.
English

@Needed2ReadPost @BngHotCoffee @NewsOn6 This Bentham.....I doubt it as he seemed to oppose main concepts the Founders believed in and frankly enlightenment ideas, since natural law was a core value of Enlightenment.

English

@VenisonStalker @BngHotCoffee @NewsOn6 What rights we have are enshrined in the Constitution. These rights were determined by classical liberalism, freedom of speech, freedom to bear arms, freedom to petition the government, protection of private property. Our justice system is based off Bentham's work.
