“All gave some. Some gave all.”
Inspector Ashish Sharma, one of the finest officers of Madhya Pradesh’s elite anti-Maoist Hawk Force, fell in the forests of Rajnandgaon while fighting Maoists.
A two-time gallantry award winner, he was the man the police sent when the job was impossibly difficult. A farmer’s son from Narsinghpur, he was just two months away from his wedding, as per Navbharat Times.
Sharing this because the heroism and sacrifices of our security forces should dominate media and social media. But sadly, we’ve normalised the opposite. The moment a terrorist is neutralised, the narrative instantly shifts to emotional sob stories about their “circumstances,” while real heroes like Ashish Sharma barely get a fraction of that attention.
Om Shanti.
Expensive real estate destroys demographics. Any society that traps its young people in debt, because of expensive education or expensive housing or expensive health care (or all of the above in many cases) is a society that is destroying its own demographic future.
If you love children, enable lower cost of living for prospective parents.

Back home from a small hospital stay.
Need to be on complete rest for a while.
Times like these I really really envy folks who have a functional family with motherly or sisterly/womanly care.
But then it is what it is....
Gotta deal with it & pamper myself.

US is yet to implement tariffs on China and keeps on postponing it. As someone pointed out, US would not even have toilet rolls to use, if China stops supplying. Huge dependency on China by US.
China wouldn't care if it's commercial relationship with US breaks. China is self reliant and self sufficient. They will survive even if US fully turns against them.
Russia, despite all it's overseas assets being frozen and huge trade ban, is not only surviving but also growing.
We cannot trust China. Equally true is our country would come to standstill if China stops exports to us. Even many made in India products consist of huge Chinese components.
Even if we stop importing oil from Russia, our dependency on defence is extremely high with Russia. Even the S 400 air defense system, which played a huge role for our success in Operations Sindoor, was supplied by Russia. Russia is the only dependable defence partner we have.
As I keep repeating, we are in a tough position geopolitically. We've failed to develop our manufacturing to be self reliant. China and Russia can survive even if every country in the world turns against them.
We've no cards to play and have huge dependency on other countries. We need to become strong. But we are not as strong or viswaguru as it is projected repeatedly.
ACT now:
*Sometimes later*…..
Later, the *food* gets cold.
Later, you lose *interest.*
Later, the *day* turns into night.
Later, *life* goes by.
Later, you *regret* not doing something…
So, do it now, because, sometimes later becomes *never.*
