On March 20th, I was incredibly honoured to receive the King Charles III Coronation Medal 🎖️ presented by the @RickHansenFdn, recognizing 40 champions of accessibility and inclusion across Canada 🍁 To be included among such dedicated change-makers—researchers, community leaders, volunteers, and fellow advocates—is a surreal and deeply meaningful moment. I’ve spent much of my life breaking down physical and attitudinal barriers, and to be recognized at a national level like this reminds me that the work is making a difference. I'm especially proud to be included on this list during the 40th anniversary of the Man In Motion World Tour ♿ 🌎 —a movement that continues to inspire generations of us to push further, advocate louder, and build a Canada where everyone belongs.
