@brt2412 Damn my dude, so sorry this has happened. Please hang in there, and realise that money is not everything here. I didn't like that aspect of the Tangem system myself, as it can get a bit confusing.

Hi guys. To my friends in the Bitcoin and Kaspa communities this will be my last post. 4 days ago I made the biggest mistake of my life and lost 2.85M KAS and 0.5 BTC on my Tangem wallet. I attempted to remove one card and add a ring in its place. After it deleted card #1 it said to scan #2. Whether I was rushing or didn’t read it correctly I don’t know, but in my mind it was asking me to scan #2 to confirm the deletion of #1. But what I actually did was delete cards 1 and 2. I have one card left and the passcode I have written down for #3 is not working. I’m not sure if the app is somehow glitched or what, but everything I’ve worked towards for the last three years is gone. And I can’t be on this app anymore and interact with all of you guys without breaking down emotionally and mentally. To Yonatan, Michael, Shai, Coder, Ori and everyone else who is building, contributing to, or has contributed to Kaspa in the past, thank you for the educational content you guys have made through talks and workshops on YouTube about cryptography. I have learned so much because of you guys and I’m eternally grateful for it all. To my friends on here….Onion, Vjay, Gonzo, Juan, Wolfie, BTC teacher, Kaspa Facts, and a thousand more of you… I’m going to miss hanging out in spaces with you guys and tweeting funny and unhinged shit all day long. It has truly been the highlight of my life to be here talking with all of you. To all the people building, experimenting, and coding on $KAS keep up the great work and change the world with some killer applications and use cases. To Tangem….I accept responsibility for the mistakes I made deleting my wallets. But it’s simply unconscionable that when I scan card #1 and view the settings for only that card, that there’s no explicit safeguards for when you’re affecting other cards. Maybe there are and I’m just acting irrationally. Either way I hope you guys change your SOP for deleting wallets. It was way too easy for me to delete mine. I’ve been on this app in this space since early 2023 preaching the good word of Kaspa and in the end it didn’t matter and I lost it all. I simply cannot be apart of this community anymore because it hurts too much to even think about how much I’ve lost. The daunting task of trying to accumulate almost 3M coins is simply too much for my heart to bare. Again, thank you to everyone for all the laughs but the spark is gone my life is simply not worth living anymore. -brt

Why are KAS deposits/withdrawals paused on exchanges? Most exchanges are calling it “wallet maintenance.” What’s happening is straightforward: Kaspa is processing high volume real-time transactions, and exchanges need to track, index, and reconcile every one before crediting users. When activity increases quickly, their internal systems can lag behind. So deposits and withdrawals are paused while they catch up and ensure balances are accurate. The #Kaspa network itself continues to run normally. Blocks, transactions, and confirmations are unaffected. A simple way to picture it: Cities were once built for horses. Then cars arrived. The roads didn’t break, but the system around them had to change. Traffic lights, lanes, rules, and highways all came after the fact. Faster movement exposed the limits of what was already there. This follows that same pattern. Kaspa developers are aware of these challenges and have been in communication with exchanges, working toward better integration and infrastructure alignment over time. This isn’t new in technology When new systems increase speed or volume, surrounding infrastructure takes time to adapt. 📈Telegraphs accelerated information beyond what financial markets could process 🚘Automobiles increased movement beyond what cities were designed for Each time, the system around the technology evolved to match. Kaspa is operating at a level of throughput that exchange infrastructure is still adapting to. No indication of a Kaspa network issue. This is exchange-side infrastructure keeping pace with throughput. In summery, the sudden increase in tx volume became too heavy to process in real-time for some exchanges. The Kaspa infra support devs are on it - compiling observed metrics, establishing the bottlenecks, brainstorming "solutions" (tradeoffs to accept) and as always, will deliver and statements will follow when ready. Exchanges are in some process of upgrading and strengthening their Kaspa integration infrastructure, and we expect those they are in contact with to reopen soon. Thx @supertypo_kas and @IzioDev and all others, for their insights in this and support in helping the CEXs to keep up. :)

@Kaspa_Commons So any chance they can work closer with Kaspa, do we advise them there will be Mainnet load-testing in advance and they should improve their systems accordingly?

@gabHernandez285 @WindowsCentral I asked that question, and was told in private enterprise cloud scenarios, the learnings do not leave their internal CoPilot and outcomes not used for external training, and say used to benefit their competitors indirectly. Unless that policy has changed.

@WindowsCentral All the intelectual property from private repositories in large companies is also used for training the great AI model in the cloud? That would cause a lot of lawsuits against Microsoft

Microsoft-owned GitHub has today revealed an update to its Copilot usage policy, and you probably know where it's heading. Starting next month, interactions with GitHub Copilot will be used to train the great AI model in the cloud. Oh, and said data can also be shared with "affiliates" which includes Microsoft. 👇

All AI agents will require economic and physical defensive skin in the game systems as their mark of beast to maintain cybersecurity and combat hoaxes. This is definitely the future. However, I think Kaspa will do a better job at it than Bitcoin as real-time synchronicity will be necessary.
Cern Basher@CernBasher

Bitcoin isn’t just Internet Money It might actually be a new kind of power - like a digital weapon or shield that countries can use to protect themselves online. In a Age of AI Agents - we're going to need an effective digital shield! The author of a new paper: "Beyond Money, Hedge, and Energy: Evaluating Bitcoin as Power Projection Technology" evaluates Jason Lowery's 2023 "SOFTWAR" theory that said Bitcoin should be understood as a way to project physical power into cyberspace. Normally, computers run on “rules” and software. But Bitcoin works differently. It uses huge amounts of real electricity and energy to secure its network. That means attacking Bitcoin isn’t just about hacking code - you would have to spend massive amounts of real-world energy and money to overpower it. The paper tests whether that theory was right by looking at what happened between 2023 and 2026. Here’s what actually happened: 1) The United States created a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve (basically treating Bitcoin like a national resource, similar to oil). 2) Countries like Bhutan secretly mined Bitcoin using hydroelectric power. 3) Over 145 public companies added Bitcoin to their balance sheets. 4) Huge investment funds (like BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF) bought tens of billions of dollars worth. 5) Global Bitcoin mining power (called “hash rate”) hit record highs - even while the price dropped. That’s important. The price of Bitcoin fell about 46% during this time. But governments and big institutions were buying more of it anyway. According to the paper, that suggests they may see Bitcoin as something strategic - not just an investment. The paper says older ways of thinking about Bitcoin don’t explain this behavior: It’s not just money. It’s not just a speculative investment. It’s not just bad for the environment. It’s not just a tech experiment. Instead, the author says Bitcoin may be more like digital territory protected by energy. If you control energy and computing power, you help protect the network. Countries might compete for that power the same way they compete for oil, weapons, or technology. The paper checked nine predictions made in 2023 about what would happen if Bitcoin really was a “power projection technology.” Five of those predictions already came true. One partly happened. Three haven’t happened yet.

@n_xddy It's rough, but BTC and others were similar at some points also, with gutwrenching downside moves and stagnation. Macro factors also effect the entire market now. Kaspa's tech truly sets it apart, and it's team.

I see a lot of posts from $kas holders during times like this "Oh kas has gone down time to scoop another dip" same thing I used to say at the beginning of 2025. Anybody else not think it's getting tiring? Not the comments but the waiting. $kas has been an exhaustive hold.

BREAKING: Oracle and OpenAI have scrapped plans to expand their flagship Stargate AI data center in Abilene, Texas after financing talks dragged and OpenAI’s needs shifted. The collapse opened the door for Meta to lease the expansion site from Crusoe — with Nvidia paying a $150M deposit and helping court Meta to keep its chips in the project. The original 4.5GW Oracle-OpenAI deal remains on track. Story with @BrodyFord_ @dinabass on @TheTerminal

@DesheShai @webKASPA Its always like that in the business world When the top leagues know that there is a product that can easily beat them for 2 years, they will find a way to either copy it or kill it. Makes me remember the guy who made a car that can run by water without any gasoline.

@MOldskool97750 @DesheShai @webKASPA I believe competition to ETH/BTC/BNB/TRON/LTC Don't underestimate how many large orgs have invested in the dog's breakfast that is ETH ecosystem. They want to suppress and sideline KAS so ETH can catch up. That's my opinion. Also Grayscale at one point were going to add KAS.
