It is an incredible feeling when you are the last man/team standing in an event which saw 12,500 individuals form over 9550 teams from 113 countries! Super proud to be declared winners of this Hackathon hosted by the @ICC in partnership with @NiumGlobal & @hack2skill

For long enough, the word "Mankad" is used in a wrong/negative manner. Let's try to understand the contribution of the man instead of restricting him to one mode of dismissal where he was not at all wrong. Mulvantrai "Vinoo" Mankad (1917–1978) stands as one of the most versatile and impactful cricketers in Indian history. A master of the "double," he was a world-class left-arm spinner and a gritty opening batsman who remains the only player to have batted in every position from 1 to 11 in Test cricket. Mankad’s statistics, while impressive, often understate his role as the backbone of a developing Indian side: 1. The 1952 "Mankad’s Test": In a legendary performance against England at Lord's, he scored 72 and 184 runs while bowling a staggering 97 overs to take 5 for 196. He became the first Indian to score a century and take five wickets in the same Test. 2. He played a pivotal role in India’s maiden Test win against England at Madras (1952), taking 12 wickets in the match (8/52 and 4/53). 3. In 1956, he and Pankaj Roy set a world-record opening stand of 413 runs against New Zealand. This record stood for 52 years until it was finally broken in 2008. 4. He was the fastest to reach the double of 1,000 runs and 100 wickets in Test cricket at the time, achieving the feat in just 23 matches. Despite his immense contributions to the game, his name is frequently associated with "Mankading"-the act of a bowler running out a non-striker who leaves their crease early. This stems from a 1947 match where he dismissed Bill Brown in this manner. While often debated under the "spirit of cricket", Sir Don Bradman staunchly defended Mankad, noting that the rule is essential to keep the non-striker from gaining an unfair advantage. In recognition of his legendary status, Mankad was inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame in 2021, cementing his place among the greatest all-rounders the world has ever seen.

@BishOnTheRockx Apart from the sensational hitting, his temperament and game sense was so spot on! The way he farmed the strike and took risks at the right time was very mature. And that shot over covers in the last over was super special. He made room and somehow managed to get under the ball!

🚨 KEVIN PIETERSEN ABSOLUTELY COOKED THOSE WHO CALL INDIA UNSAFE 🔥 “I always say to people: if you’re a cricketer, you come to India and you don’t enjoy India, there’s something wrong with you. Because the level of service here is better than anywhere else in the world. No one treats a cricketer anywhere in the world as good as they treat them here in India. Nowhere. Hands down, nowhere.’’

Why can't every politician be pragmatic and pro-India like him. Politics can always be kept separate from what's good for India. And opposition can be on what really matters to the people.

#WATCH | Delhi | On India AI Impact Summit, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor says, "... These first couple of days have gone extremely well. There have been some glitches, but these things happen in a large event. What has been impressive is the attendance of Presidents, Prime Ministers, and world leaders, and they've come with a strong message of wanting to see a newly integrated world in AI development, where the impact upon society would be the Principle. Preoccupation in India has clearly led the drive in this area. As far as the French Rafale is concerned, parts of it are being manufactured in India, and that is a very important aspect of the deal because it is part of strengthening our defence, but also increasing our self-reliance in the defence sector... Defence is important for India not because we want to go to war, but because we don't want others to think that we are so weak that they can be tempted to go to war. It is a defensive defence literally, and I support the government on that."

For the first time, I disagree here with Nasser. I understand the “Bangladesh sticking to their guns for their player” part. But Pak has no business to say that they can’t play Ind in a neutral venue. They got the neutral venue by their own request and now are trying to act smart!

Indian fans aren’t going to like this. Listen to Nasser Hussain. He has further exposed the ICC and the BCCI. He also praised Pakistan and Bangladesh for standing up to the hypocrisy of the ICC.

The global cricket economy thrives on Indian revenue, yet when the BCCI asserts its rightful influence, critics are quick to cry foul. It’s a clear double standard, these same voices stay silent on major geopolitical sanctions, but suddenly find their voice when India stands its ground. Hypocrisy at its finest.

@Lolflix_ The only impressive thing is the time taken by the Ambulance to come to your house in case of an emergency. But then if you aren’t really dying, they will keep in the hallway by giving you Tylenol for an average of 7-8 hours till you see a doctor!

@Lolflix_ Free Healthcare is how they sell it! People don’t realise how much people shell out as taxes to be able to afford such substandard healthcare in countries like Canada and UK! It took me 2 days for an X Ray and 2 weeks to see a doctor for a finger fracture!
