YES! I hate this antipodean abbreviation “CBD” (Central Business District). It’s not an office park, it’s a city! There are museums, churches, parks, bars, houses. People work, live, play and fall in love here. Don’t sell it short with words. twitter.com/simonbwilson/s…

Call it city centre not CBD: it's far more than a central business district. In Auckland nearly 60,000 people live there, plus 100,000 students. It's growing 6x faster than the rest of the city. The real question is: HOW is the city centre going to work w/o non-essential cars?
