Yup. And it is not a lazy way to say yes either. It’s better to be understood as a more casual way of saying, yes; whereas “yes” is more formal. Yup works more among friends or family. It can also be a sign of disrespect if someone in authority asks you a question and you answer, yup. Best way to understand it is it’s an informal, yes.

Again, black and white thinking, that's the logical fallacy here. Massie was elected as the representative of Kentucky’s 4th District, their voice in Congress. His "job" is to uphold the Constitution and represent their will, not trade votes for pork. We need more principled politicians like Massie, not fewer; far more would actually get accomplished.

He has the emotional maturity of a six year who can't get everything he wants. Kentucky and America deserve better.
