Two years ago, my sister told us she was getting married. We were all excited — I was already planning my asoebi 😭 A month later, she came home with her partner… a woman. My dad was furious. My mom kept asking if it was a joke. But my sister was serious. Things got really bad at home. My parents tried to “fix” it, but she stood her ground. Since same-sex marriage isn’t allowed in Nigeria, she relocated to the UK with her partner. They got married last Saturday. My parents didn’t attend. Me and my brothers were the only ones there. The truth is… I just want her to be happy 💔✨
