@angcathalex Most confident Christians know: We are wretched and perpetual sinners. Many of us don’t need to be reminded by the Pope. Some seem to rocket and need the reminder: Raymond, you are a sinner. Confess and repent. Then rejoin the party of the redeemed sinners.

“Cream City” Milwaukee earned that name from the pale cream bricks baked from local clay. Built raw by German brewers, factory hands, and hard lake sailors. From City Hall tower, that grit still towers over the lake.

@ScottC1517 Scott the Southern Presbyterian: it’s OK to hold different views on women ordination. It’s not OK to disparage Hannah for your opinion. Hannah is a lovely person whose ministry is very meaningful to many. She is a faithful servant of God who called her. Walk your way.

Christ Church, Nelson, England (Methodist Church in Great Britain and the Roman Catholic Church) You heard that right. Christ Church is an 'ecumenical union church' of the MCGB + RCC. With the ecumenical partnership starting back in 2004.

Georgia is a ticking time bomb for the GOP Unless they do something about the Atlanta Suburbs. They’re sprinting to the left 🟥➡️🟦. Although we see that inner city Atlanta has shifted right 🟦➡️🟥, the city is still deeply blue Soon, leftists will conquer these blue trending suburbs, and will destroy many State Legislative Seats if we don’t stop the Suburban bleeding.

@dianemontagna Over 20 years attending SSPX. Several issues, most importantly, these are extremely insular candidates, completely trained and formed within the SSPX. These sorts of priests fail to understand the challenges young people face. Limited language knowledge, no experience abroad.

JUST IN: SSPX Announces Four Priests to Be Consecrated as Bishops on July 1: dianemontagna.substack.com/p/sspx-announc… In a statement released today at 2:32pm (Rome), the SSPX said the four priests are: Father Pascal Schreiber, of Swiss nationality; Father Michael Goldade, of American nationality; Father Michel Poinsinet de Sivry, of French nationality; Father Marc Hanappier, of French nationality. “In a spirit of respect toward the supreme authority of the universal Church, the dossiers of these priests were presented to the Holy Father, together with certain explanations necessary for a proper understanding of this step, within the very particular and exceptional context of these episcopal consecrations,” the statement added. This is deeply concerning. Episcopal consecration without papal mandate touches the very heart of ecclesial communion and apostolic unity. You cannot claim fidelity and respect to the supreme authority of the universal Church and Chair of Peter while acting independently of the authority entrusted to that same Chair in matters as serious as the appointment of bishops. Let us pray for the Church.

@JeremiahW2044 The Republicans and their developers BFF are fully to blame for this. Right now they keep fighting to put more and more apartment complexes in what was once a very strong Republican area. If they don't stop moving in the masses it will soon turn democrat.

Lutherans, I love you, but this kind of petty factionalism really does not suit you. If you want traditional worship and factional squabbling, Anglicanism already exists. There's no need to reinvent the wheel.

@rebeccaleser @hoosier_cs Yes and no. It really depends on the congregation. There are “low church” congregations and “high church” ones. Anglo-Catholic is a subset of the high church ones. Virginia is famously “low church”.
