I have a proposal to make the @base ecosystem the #1 destination for active users in Web3 🟦 This is my honest feedback as a developer and mini-app owner. Since Developer Leaderboards were introduced, I believe this is the next logical step for Base App expansion. We have great builders, but we need a sustainable "Incentive Layer" that connects the chain, the apps and the users in a single growth loop. Here is the "Base Weekly Boost" concept: 👇 The Idea: Base allocates a weekly pool (e.g., $20k - $50k) specifically for top-performing apps within the Base App. 🔹Performance Grants: Apps are ranked by DAU, retention or TX count. 🔹 User Rewards: 100% of the grant must be distributed to the app's most active users. The Impact Why this works for the ecosystem: 📈 Massive TX Spike: Users are motivated to perform daily onchain actions to stay in the "active" tier. upside-down Retention: Instead of one-off airdrop hunters, we get daily active users (DAU) who stick with mini-apps. 🚀 Support for Devs: It creates a system where the best and most useful apps get the resources they need to grow. Sybil Protection How to keep it fair and bot-free? Apps are responsible for their own "Proof of Humanity." Since devs know their user behavior best, they can: 🔹Provide verified allowlists based on app-specific milestones. 🔹Use direct onchain distribution to rewarded users. This isn't just a theory After seeing "Base Me" hit 50k users in a week with 130k+ transactions, the hunger for engagement is clear. We just need to fuel the fire. yesterday, my clawdbot (@openclaw) nearly drained my wallet for all i have. not a hack. not a phishing link. my own agent hallucinated and started signing transactions. i'd given it wallet access for routine ops. swaps, gas management, normal stuff. it misread a price feed, decided i wanted to liquidate a position, and started firing off txns. three in a row. fast. by the time i looked at my screen it had already queued them. all three were blocked. @KairoGuard flagged every one. policy violation. daily transfer limit i'd set weeks ago. "3 transactions denied. Exceeds policy threshold." i just sat there staring at my monitor. here's what nobody talks about with AI agents + crypto: they don't need to be malicious to be dangerous. they just need to be wrong. once. the real question is: what happens when they are? Attention Sui Users! I have noticed that on almost each USDC transfer on Sui network, there is a scammer creating similar address (with similar starting & ending digits) & it sends you small Sui amount on your account, so it appears in your recent transaction. Scammers do this on hope that you will copy the address from recent transactions without confirming all digits & end up giving away your money at wrong address.
