Yesterday a video went viral on TikTok when a woman shared the inside of her car after it caught on fire Including her Stanley cup - still in tact and with ice in it!!! The president of Stanley stitched the video in < 24 hours offering to replace her cup…..and her car. This company will now get likely 1B earned media impressions and positive brand awareness + knowledge of the quality of their product through this one quick response and 30 second video. 1. Listen to your social team 2. Moved fast 3. Care about your audience Great marketing move, Stanley!!!

Friend (also in comms) was just saying - "Well, of course, you're an overthinker. You work in PR - where you HAVE to think through every potential angle & outcome." That tracks.

Some people genuinely don't understand what a comms team in a local authority has to deal with, or why it needs an experienced senior figure to head it up. Glad to have the opportunity of talking about this on @bbcradioulster this morning.

@rebekahsadler @British_Airways Not as ridiculous as when BA charged me $1800 for a ticket because they had cancelled my return flight because I didn’t travel on the first leg of the flight. They just cancelled my seat and re-sold it 🙃🙃🙃 five days after my wedding. It was a fun time 😅😅
