Only time will tell. The claim “Elon Musk would never let that happen” still needs to be proven. I’m a huge fan of most of his projects (though, in my humble opinion, Hyperloop was not a strong pitch), but sometimes personal, political, or economic interests get in the way of true greatness. Elon is human, and he runs companies whose goal is to be profitable. Profitability always comes at a cost and creates friction. Change happens gradually. I'm simply voicing my concerns about this new system. I'm not optimistic about it, but I would very much enjoy being proven wrong over time.
