Eagerly anticipating tomorrow. I haven’t been this excited/nervous about a potential GTA 6 news date in a long, long time. I’m personally extremely confident but of course you never know with Rockstar.

@DetectiveSeeds But in a way, they kind of showed what releasing pre orders will do for their stocks based on how much it jumped by pure speculation. So without even opening pre orders, they can give numbers on what will happen when they do, regardless if the stock falls tomorrow.

So, I want to make sure I understand the “opposition” if you will to the Best Buy GTA VI pre order email. They had to enter a specific pre order date range for that campaign, they had to include the GTA VI art on it, they had to make sure it goes to a certain customer base, this literally caused the stock to soar for Take- Two, neither Best Buy nor the agency have come out to make any statements about it to say this is not accurate, etc, and it is the week of Take- Two earnings call. So all of that has to be I guess false? Sometimes the most logical answer, is the answer. They sent the email out early, whether accident or “calculated accident.” Because here is what will happen if Take Two does not do or say anything tomorrow. That Take Two stock will plummet right before Strauss Zelnick holds the earnings call. So, I would be Floored if they do not open the pre orders tomorrow for GTA VI. In the meantime, get some air and exercise a little. It is great for you!

A reminder for everyone: Don’t take every statement from a Best Buy live agent as official confirmation. Customer support agents usually don’t have access to Rockstar’s internal marketing or pre-order rollout plans ahead of time. We’ve seen this happen before with major game launches where retailers stay uninformed until the last minute. May 18th still shouldn’t be ruled out entirely just because a support agent said “nothing is happening.” Until Rockstar Games or official retailers publicly announce something, everything remains speculation.

Do you think Trailer 3 and Preorders will go live tomorrow for GTA VI?

Yeah having the real car models would definitely be a big point towards Forza. There's just something about driving around in a more engaging open world, being able to get in and out of the car etc, makes it feel more real and free. I wonder how much it will hurt the racing game genre.

@ViceSpot I don’t feel it would take away from the Forza experience because of the amount of real cars Forza offers. Not to mention, the tuning capabilities Forza has will probably be slightly different than GTA 6. However, gta will shine due to mechanics (convertibles, riding bikes, etc.)

@GTA6Plus I wonder how much polish and more they added to the game in these past 18 months, I could bet that even 18 months ago it would have still been considered the best game of all time.

What do you guys honestly think happens tomorrow? Rockstar DID clear out their schedule for the next 2 weeks so it makes no sense for nothing GTA 6 related news to come out THIS WEEK 💔💔

@GTA6_Premium The only thing is, we've had this happen before on May 12th. Everything seemed to be pointing towards that day. We need to keep our expectations in check, I'm super hopeful and hyped for tomorrow, but also remember Rockstar are unpredictable.

@ViceSpot The timing is definitely something to notice. Rockstar freeing up the next two weeks, the upcoming Take-Two earnings call, the recent journalist preview reports, and the Best Buy emails. Too much stuff has happened for information to NOT come out this week 🔥

@TheGTABase I'd say 18 months ago it was still going to be best game of all time. Now it's going to be on an even different level.

In the recent interview with Take Two’s Strauss Zelnick, he said that Grand Theft Auto VI is actually 18 months behind schedule. GTA VI originally was planned to release 18 MONTHS ago. It’s had so much time to cook now. November 19, 2026. #GTAVI
